I was born in Rajasthan, and we posted to Ferozepur when I was 2, and moved to Delhi at age 4.5 for dadโs pre deployment MEA course, before moving outside of India for several years.
But I recall every memory from Ferozepur and cantonment life, crystal clear. Itโs so oddly comforting. Odd because I was so young.

So, in all my infinite wisdom of thinking I could subsist on soups (was also because of my severe nausea), Iโm now officially energy-deficient and 5 kilos lighter. Nary a morsel of carbs has passed my lips in days, and I can confirm- itโs pure torture.

Chaman Lal from Fatehgarh Gujran village in Ludhiana district had gone to Amritsar for a pilgrimage on September 11. After getting separated from his group, he somehow boarded a train to Bihar and ended up more than 1,200 km away in Gaya.
There, Neeraj, a local from Gaya who works in construction, found him distressed and hungry. He took him home, fed him and gave him shelter for 4 days.
Chaman Lal could only remember his village name. Neeraj spent 3 days searching online and using ChatGPT to trace Fatehgarh Gujran.And then he did something even more beautiful.
He personally travelled with Chaman Lal from Gaya all the way to Ludhiana and then Machhiwara, where a local finally recognised him.
His family was found โค๏ธ
Sometimes humanity is as simple as refusing to walk past someone who needs help.

What an incredible rescue of a newborn elephant calf swept away by the Teesta River! The courage, compassion and quick thinking of local fishermen, combined with the swift response of the Baikunthapur Forest Division, deserve immense appreciation. Together, they successfully reunited the little one with its anxious mother. Bravo ๐ #elephants #wildliferescue

This is Day 6 of me suffering from debilitating pain and inexplicable exhaustion from the latest flare up that effectively stops my life in its tracks. And itโs a chronic story of my life for the last decade.

Fibromyalgia is "a chronic, long-term health condition that causes widespread pain, extreme tiredness, and sleep problems."
People who are diagnosed with it are also apparently 90% female and 90% white.
Does that not seem... strange to anyone?
