Crypto is still not mobile first.
Traditional finance already is.
~55% of users use mobile banking as their primary way to interact with money.
~40% are mobile only.
Crypto?
Still heavily desktop driven, especially DeFi and consumer crypto. Yet most of the world is mobile first.
But there are changes happening.
@MetaMask , @Rabby_io, @phantom = improving UX
@tryfomo , @baseapp , @opensea (mobile beta) = mobile native direction
But we are not there yet.
Most onchain interactions still feel easier on PC. Too many steps. Too much friction.
The next cycle winner? Something tells me it will be the teams that make crypto feel like mobile banking.
Crypto is still trying to onboard a mobile first world with desktop first UX.
Fix that, and a lot can change.
Left CEXs out of this discussion intentionally, as my focus here is more on DeFi, RWA, payments, and consumer etc.

Here are some of the items on my end.
Hint: no AI/OpenClaude or overnight expert on macro and the Strait of Hormuz tolls. Just my good old style to do list.

>On the RWA side, I need to build my knowledge and get more exposure. Also catching up on the new EU/ECB proposals for MiCA oversight
Finally, one top priority for the coming week is to test more mobile crypto apps.
This is an area I want to explore further and create content around. Mobile crypto apps have a lot of room to grow next, and I don’t see many creators focusing on this.

I don't care what kind of hardware you have, you should be running local models
It will save you a ton on money on OpenClaw and keep your data private
Even if you're on the cheapest Mac Mini you can be doing this
Here's a complete guide:
1. Download LMStudio
2. Go to your OpenClaw/Hermes and say what kind of hardware you have (computer and memory and storage)
3. Ask what's the best local model you can run on there (probably will be Gemma 4 or Qwen. if you have a big computer, it will be GLM)
4. Ask 'based on what you know about me, what workflows could this open model replace?'
5. Have OpenClaw walk you through downloading the model in LM Studio and setting up the API
6. Ask OpenClaw to start using the new API
Boom you're good to go.
You just saved money by using local models, have an AI model that is COMPLETELY private and secure on your own device, did something advanced that 99% of people have never done, and have entered the future.
If you are on smaller hardware you probably are not going to replace all your AI calls with this, but you could replace smaller workflows which will still save you good money
Own your intelligence.
