Benjamin Franklin : Final : Franklin returned home to Philadelphia from Paris in 1785 a national hero having successfully brought in France to support the American revolution and negotiating the Treaty of Paris recognizing America as a sovereign nation. He was seventy nine years old. The states were running autonomously at that point under the provisions of the Articles of Confederation. Pennsylvania selected him to be president of the executive council or governor for three consecutive one year terms upon his return. At eighty one Franklin becomes the eldest member at the Constitutional Convention. His health was failing. He was quietly mediating the disparate factions and calling for unity but he did intervene on specific points being argued on the floor. His influence helped sway votes on many issues but his only prepared speech called for signing even under uncertainty as the perfect all pleasing document would never exist. This "as good as it gets" moment sealed the deal. The Constitution was ratified in 1788 forming the United States of America. Franklin died two years later in 1790. His contribution to science and the American "experiment" helped found a nation subordinating the government to the people. It was unique without precedent. In Washington DC today we have a Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and the Washington Monument. Benjamin Franklin deserves much more credit. He was the brilliant pragmatist that made the United States of America possible.

Benjamin Franklin : Career Three : 1775: Upon his return to Philadelphia Franklin was immediately selected to represent Pennsylvania at the Second Continental Congress and appointed Postmaster General of the colonies. In the spring of 1776 Franklin headed the committee on drafting the Articles of Confederation and also was on the Declaration committee editing the Declaration of Independence. Franklin was more than an elder statesman. He was actively involved in every aspect of forming the nation. He solicited compromise, reconciled colony disputes, and was outspoken on subordinating the government to the people. In October of 1776 Franklin was selected to be the first commissioner to France with the sole mission of soliciting French financial and military support for the American Revolution. It was difficult. France had just lost the seven years war with England and was broke. They couldn't afford another miscue but Franklin was relentless in herding the separate factions to gain support. In October of 1777 the Americans defeated the British at Saratoga giving France the first real evidence the Americans could win and France agreed to the Treaty of Alliance. It was tenuous but Franklin worked nonstop to keep it going throughout the war. It's doubtful America would have won without France. After Cornwallis surrendered the British forces at Yorktown, Franklin spent two additional years negotiating the Treaty of Paris and returned home to Philadelphia in 1785. Benjamin Franklin invested nine years in Paris 1776-1785. He provided the French support that won the American Revolution.

Look at this French school girl, they tried to deprive her of knowledge and she walked out with all the literature she wanted. She's holding Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, McCarthy, Homer and many other classics.

If this were independence hall would anyone say it was just a monument and not the republic that is burning like the Mayor of Limoges just said?

WHY is Gates not under indictment for crimes against humanity?!!! @SecKennedy @POTUS
Bill Gates financed the FIRST-EVER creation of 16 man-made viruses using AI. The Gates-funded mad scientists used AI to design entire viral genomes and then physically manufactured them. Now, he’s claiming the world faces imminent AI bioterror attacks—the VERY capability he helped fund into existence. This demands an FBI investigation.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Wisconsin's Elections Commission just BANNED all 1,800 municipal clerks from using the federal SAVE database to check whether voters are U.S. citizens, just 18 days before the election SEN. MIKE LEE: “That sounds like Wisconsin really wants to facilitate election fraud.” The Supreme Court lifted the injunction against SAVE on September 25. Yet some states suspiciously don’t want to use it! Verify all citizens, mandatory! WE NEED THE SAVE AMERICA ACT 🇺🇸

Fox News’ Peter Doocy: “What did you think when you saw the new Tesla Roadster flying? President Trump: “I'm very happy for Elon, because I think he just gave up his science before and he deserved it. No, it's great. I don't know from the standpoint of what you're going to see in that car, but it's pretty impressive, very impressive. We're doing as a country things that nobody ever does about it.” Elon Musk is the GREATEST inventor of all time. What he has done for humanity is UNBELIEVABLE.

I've known @jamestalarico for nearly 20 years. When we were at @UTAustin in 2009, he ran the University Democrats and I ran the College Republicans. Although we disagreed, I once considered him a friend. But then he betrayed the entire student body for his own political gain.🧵

Why wasn’t the attack against President Trump’s home and family an attack against us all? Enough of the hypocrisy.
Bernie Sanders believes an attack against Ilhan Omar is an attack against ALL of Americans.

Imagine that, California got caught trying to rig another election.
🚨 JUST IN: California election officials are likely VIOLATING 18 USC 611 and the Trump DOJ just took them to court after the state refused to vet 20,000 potential non-citizens receiving mail-in ballots DOJ has a MAJOR vetting process to determine that 20K figure and California said "NO, WE'RE NOT CHECKING" 🤯 The Justice Department checks immigration records, several identifiers, 2nd-level review and launches an HSI investigation into each Trump has OFFICIALLY sued to get those ballots not tabulated until citizenship is verified. Because OF COURSE it's California already trying to cheat the midterms! And it's home to vital US House seats we need to win. If you have nothing to hide, why refuse to even LOOK?!
