In the MCU, Howard tells Steve that the metal used for his shield is the entire U.S. supply of vibranium, suggesting America had almost none. But What If…? gives us an interesting clue. In that timeline, King T’Chaka secretly provides Howard Stark with vibranium, showing Wakanda could share small amounts with trusted allies. The comics go even further, connecting Captain America with Wakanda during World War II. So Steve’s shield may have had a secret Wakandan connection all along.

Did you notice what happens when Captain Marvel grabs Thanos’ gauntlet in Avengers: Endgame? She crashes into him like a meteor and holds him back, but something interesting happens. The Infinity Stones stop glowing while she’s fighting him. Some fans believe Captain Marvel was absorbing or disrupting the Stones’ energy, which could explain why Thanos suddenly struggled to overpower her. Then Thanos pulled the Power Stone directly from the Gauntlet and blasted her with it. That moment may have been more important than it looked. Doctor Strange had already shown Tony the one possible future where they win. But watching Thanos remove a Stone individually gave Tony the opening he needed. Tony didn’t need the entire Gauntlet, He just needed the Stones and with his nanotech, he took them.
