Being fast but being able to play slow is a gift. Don’t use your speed all the time.

Like when people would hate on Aaliyah Chavez I didn’t understand it. Kid came from a West Tx town and just flat out WORKED to get on top. Controlling what they could control. There should be admiration, not hate.

The difference between me and most as a sports parent is that I’m cool with wherever my kids land if they pursue a sport… meaning NAIA is just as valuable as D1. And if they aren’t good enough for anything that’s fine too! NAIA kid may outperform their genetic abilities while a D1 kid may have under performed. Who knows. Just grind, focus on your goal and land where you land.

Schools benefit from a kids talent one way or another or their wouldn’t be any transfer rules.. “All the good players would go to one school..” Well then it shows that winning matters and the talent matters. So the talent should have a say so..

Rules do not equal moral compass.. it’s annoying when people point at rules as if rules don’t change lol. Has American history not shown you rules don’t always align with what’s right.
