This is the first instrumental that I ever wrote when I was about 20 years old. We had a bass player who lived in Quicksburg, VA named Mike Brantley and we’d stop and pick him up in the bus... We recorded it on our first album in Nashville called A Deeper Shade of Blue. - Ronnie
