IndianOil is deeply saddened by the tragic and untimely demise of our colleague, Shri Mahesh Shelke, Field Officer, Nanded North RSA, who lost his life in a shocking incident while discharging his official duties.
A bright and promising Sales Officer, Shri Shelke was a dedicated professional whose commitment and sincerity had earned him the respect of his colleagues. His untimely passing is an irreparable loss to his family and a profound loss to the IndianOil family.
At this hour of immense grief, IndianOil stands firmly with his bereaved family and is extending all possible support to them. The Corporation has taken up the matter with the concerned authorities.
We mourn the loss of a valued colleague whose life and career have been cut short far too soon.

Deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic incident in which Shri Mahesh Shelke, Manager (Retail Sales), IndianOil, lost his life in Maharashtra while discharging his official duties. He was a part of a team carrying out the takeover of an IndianOil retail outlet in Hingoli district when he was brutally attacked with a sharp weapon. I strongly condemn this heinous and unacceptable act of violence.
I offer my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in their hour of unimaginable grief and shock.
@PetroleumMin and @IndianOilcl firmly stand with them and will extend all possible support.
The issue has been taken up with the senior-most officials of the Maharashtra Government and Police to ensure swift and strict action against those responsible, in accordance with law.
The safety, dignity and security of our energy-sector personnel, who work tirelessly to serve the nation, remain paramount.

On the occasion of Swachhata Pakhwada* under the theme #Swachhata Hi Seva - 2026', Shri Hemant Rathore, ED NR&SH, DSO and Shri Ritesh Kumar, SRH, DSO along with Delhi Divisional Office team, visited CM Shri School, Rouse Avenue, DDU Marg, New Delhi.
The team carried out a pledge-taking ceremony with the students, followed by a cleanliness drive in the school premises. He addressed the students and emphasized the importance of cleanliness in our daily lives and the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister for a Swachh Bharat.
Students were motivated to actively participate in the cleanliness drive, keep their surroundings clean and spread the message of hygiene and sanitation in their homes and community.
