“I shared a link to my bot, but no one understands how good it is!”
^ I’ve gotten some version of this countless times now, so here’s a quick guide on how to get your bots to resonate for other people:
1. Show, don’t tell! If you send me a link to your bot with zero context, why would I ever give it a chance? No one knows how great your bots are unless you *show* what they’ve done for you, what makes them unique, and how to use them. A video, screenshots, or even a written guide is far more illustrative than a link.
2. Build an onboarding! You want to reduce the time-to-value for someone using your bot. Don’t assume they will have the exact same tools and context. It’s just like building a product… empathize with your users!
3. Give your bots recurring value, for end-to-end tasks. If others can rely on your bots + insight consistently to get their work done, they’ll stay on the roster. Don’t get your bot benched :)
4. Enhance your bots + share updates! The Grok Bot product is getting better, literally every few hours. From voice capabilities to new connectors to some incoming features I can’t talk about yet, the product is constantly gaining enhancements and you should be updating your bot templates to leverage them. People need to trust your templates will continually evolve, so that they keep them around.
There’s a lot more coming to bots, rewards, templates, and the curated marketplace. Happy sharing!
Make
@bot's people love → share them on X → get rewarded.
Simple as that. We're just getting started.
