The Club of Rome commissioned researchers at MIT to model the interaction between:
population
food production
industrial production
nonrenewable resources
pollution
The model examined what could happen if those trends continued.
And the Club of Rome’s own historical material explicitly says that continued growth could eventually produce overshoot followed by decline in population and industrial capacity.
So there really was a serious international intellectual movement—before Coleman wrote his book—thinking about whether indefinite population and economic growth was physically sustainable.
That is a documented historical fact, not a conspiracy theory.

John Coleman published Conspirators’ Hierarchy: The Story of the Committee of 300 in 1992 through America West Publishers. The book is about 288 pages and presents a sweeping theory that a secret, extremely powerful organization—the “Committee of 300”—operates above governments and influential institutions.
His argument went far beyond simply saying that wealthy people influence governments.
He claimed there was a hierarchy of power involving organizations and networks such as:

banking and financial interests
intelligence organizations
various secret societies
Coleman argued that these weren’t simply independent organizations with overlapping membership and interests. His thesis was that they ultimately fit into a larger coordinated structure controlled by the Committee of 300.
