While tonight wasn’t the result we were hoping for, I’m incredibly proud of the campaign we built and thankful for the hundreds of thousands of Georgians who put their trust in me.
To every Georgian who supported us, attended a campaign stop, donated their time and money, or cast their vote for me at the ballot box – I want to thank you.
Since Day 1, this campaign was never about me. It was about the people of Georgia and the leadership they deserve in the U.S. Senate.
For the past 11 months, I’ve driven my truck to every corner of this state. And the one thing I hear over and over again is how Congress is not working for the people the way it should.
Too often, politicians go up to Washington and forget who they were elected to serve. They get rich, chase headlines, and get nothing done for the people. It’s not right, and it doesn’t stop until we start sending different kinds of leaders up to Washington who are in it for the right reasons – and that’s to serve.
While tonight didn’t go our way, I want you to know that I’ll continue to be in this fight. No matter who you voted for or what you believe, one thing we all can agree on is Jon Ossoff does not represent our Georgia values. In November, we’re sending him to the bench!
It’s been the honor of a lifetime. Thank you.
Georgia First. Always.
