The advantage to Reactive contracts, as their name suggests, lies in their reactivity. Traditional smart contracts are passive, only executing in response to direct end user transactions. In contrast, RSCs are reactive, continuously monitoring connected blockchains for events of interest and autonomously executing predefined blockchain actions in response, whilst maintaining a full on-chain workflow.

@0xReactive Omni turns every cron contract into a bigger fee payer: ~7x the ticks plus a fixed fee per tick. On Lasna, those fees fund the validators doing the work and burn the gas. Supply capped at 2.4B. Usage feeds validators and the burn. $REACT

Omni Puts Reactive on a One Second Clock

Reactive mainnet is scheduled to move to Omni on October 28: one second blocks, instant finality and a simpler way to build. Every cron contract gets a clock nearly seven times faster. Here is what

The Omni update brings long-awaited transparency to the Network: status, validators, the peer network, and more.

Ultra bullish on this integration with #Robinhood #React
Reactive x Robinhood @RobinhoodCrypto Chain is now available as both origin and destination on Reactive Network Stock tokens already trade 24/7. With Reactive, the logic managing them can too, responding to on-chain events on Robinhood Chain and every other chain a position touches. Reactive contracts subscribe to events, run solidity and settle callbacks on-chain. No bots, keepers, or off-chain triggers required. Making them ideal for: - Tightening collateral when weekend feeds go quiet - Repositioning liquidity ranges between trades - Enforcing agent exposure limits Tokenized markets never close, so your on-chain actions don't need to either! x.com/0xReactive/status/2109… x.com/0xReactive/status/2109…

$React observable: “Short version for newcomers: a normal smart contract waits for someone to call it. A reactive contract watches for something to happen and calls something else.”

Gm to everyone building on Robinhood Chain. We're bringing open, permissionless crosschain automation into your hands. - react to swaps, prices or liquidity changes; - respond to events on /insert any supported blockchain here/ by initiating actions on RH, or vice versa; - transparently automate portfolio rebalancing or position management -trigger contract actions when specified onchain events occur ... and much much more. @RobinhoodCrypto

Reactive Network is working on webhooks 👀 So far, Reactive contracts send data out via on-chain callbacks. Soon they could ping any web server directly: bots, backends, alerts. No destination contract needed. $REACT
I mean, nobody really said that a callback is the only way to get your data out of Reactive (WiP)

Reactive webhooks let a contract push a decision it already made to any server, so agents and backends wake on the event instead of polling the chain for a callback. $REACT

I got into Bitcoin around $1. Buying early wasn’t the hardest part. Holding through every crash was hard. Holding when the gains could change my life was harder. Patience isn’t a quote I post. It’s the decision that built my life.
