An update on
$SILV bought during the incident.
You deserve a clear answer, so here it is.
Any
$SILV bought between 01:00 UTC and 14:00 UTC on Friday 11 September will be removed from wallets.
We know that's hard to read. Many of you bought in good faith, and this affects you directly. We're sorry.
Here's why. During that window,
$SILV traded far below the value of the silver behind it because of the compromise. If those tokens stay in circulation, the people who held
$SILV before the incident pay the price. Removing them protects the backing for every legitimate holder.
If you held
$SILV before 01:00 UTC on Friday 11 September, your tokens are not affected.
If you bought during the window, you will have a way to get USDC back.
Refunds open Monday 14 September at 12:00 UTC. The full process and how to claim will be published here at the same time. Monday is the earliest we can do this properly, because silver markets are closed over the weekend.
Where things stand:
• We're working with the Solana Incident Response Network (SIRN) and SEAL 911 on the investigation
•
$SILV will be re-pegged as soon as possible
Stay safe:
We will never DM you about a refund. Anyone offering you one before Monday 14 September is a scammer. The only refund link will come from this account.
This has been a hard day for our community, and we don't take that lightly. We'll update you here at every step.
