A woman asked for a women-only Halo league.
Unyshek used his position as Halo’s community manager to publicly shame her for it and accuse her of “ostracizing” people.
She wanted one space for women. He made her the problem.
Imagine calling yourself a community manager while using your platform to show women exactly what happens when they step out of line and ask for spaces of their own.
Absolutely pathetic. Good riddance.
I feel only further vindicated by this given that the 4 main sources for the community have yet to even say anything for days. I get they’re probably still learning stuff too but this is some of the biggest news for Halo ever. Can you at least like, acknowledge it?

343 spent 15 years running Halo into the ground. I hope Activision gives us a good Halo game, but watching 343 get glassed from orbit is just as satisfying as getting one.
I can't wait to see your tweets bitching about activision and its direction for the franchise. Complaining about how you wish 343 continued it.

Bungie fans took 15 years of ridicule for liking old Halo and have always been here for the franchise. The second 343 fans stop getting catered to, they fold, cry foul, and head for the exit.
