Just some closing week thoughts for you all The biggest thing is, thank you. Your response to our comms this week has injected our team with so much energy and hope, please know that The next is, I know there are a lot of questions on the how, what, when of unvaulting. Including any potential future updates to D2 and what’s beyond for Destiny There’s going to be a very intentional process for all of it that will take time. But over the next few weeks (targeting prior to the end of October) we’ll talk about what our first step is going to look like with more clarity But instead of a traditional ‘roadmap’ comms I’d rather talk about it through the lens of a progress bar. Bring you all closer, more consistently to our dev milestones. And just be transparent about any challenges we run into and show you the proof of work along the way that unlocks further understanding That way when we share a release date we’re all on the same page and have the right expectations that leads directly into how we'll further celebrate Destiny's legacy and vision for the future So, talk more soon. Update: Due to issues found on the Crucible map Disjunction, we will be removing the map from additional Crucible playlists. Players may still access this map in Private Matches moving forward.

We have two more Crucible-centric changes going live today to address map and sandbox balance issues. 1. The map Disjunction is being removed from Iron Banner due to issues with Fortress zone placement. 2. The Europa 4-piece Armor Set Bonus is being disabled in Crucible environments as it can give players Frost Armor at all times. This set bonus will continue to be available in PvE. >> From the Storm : After being out of combat for a moderate duration (this is the part that doesn't work... seems to be at any time, even when in combat!), slowly gain Frost Armor until you reenter combat. Thank you to all players who have been reporting issues and feedback since Monument of Triumph launched.

Due to an issue where players can spawn near infinite Special Ammo in the Crucible, we will be disabling the 4-Piece Set Bonus from the Gambit "Cyberserpent Null" armor set in Crucible Ops playlists. Yes, this includes Iron Banner, which is live right now! Bountiful Munitions: While Adrenal Rush is active, final blows grant Special Ammo progress. Final Blows against powerful combatants, Guardians, and Taken grants additional progress. This set bonus will continue to function in PvE environments.

UPDATE: The issue with Zavala's weekly Vanguard Arsenal has been resolved. Players should now be able to claim the weapon as expected.

Thank you to all the players that participated in the Excision, Ergo Sum Community Challenge. Those of you who helped defeat The Witness and stopped the final shape will have the Intrepid Pearl emblem waiting when they log into Destiny 2. Claim it from Collections > Flair > Emblems > General.

We are investigating an issue where Zavala's weekly Vanguard Arsenal weapon is not available for players to claim. Players are advised to not spend Chronologs unlocking additional weapon options at this time if that option is available to them. More information will be provided when available.

Carnage Within... While we still don't have a final TWID on the calendar yet, we have plans to keep the art and movie community emblems flowing in the near future. Great montage, Frost. Thank you for your years of absolute destruction in the Crucible.

Next Tuesday we will have a short amount of downtime and background maintenance for Destiny 2. There will be a small download alongside it, but this is not a large patch. We have a minor display fix for expansion pricing in the game. We do not want players, returning or new, to be mislead or confused by incorrect listings in the game, especially when they’re just getting back up to speed with Monument of Triumph and previous expansions. Stay tuned for more details on downtime next week.

Thank you to everyone who overcame our in-game challenges over the years. What started as "Jacket Quest" back in the day grew a lot. It's always fun seeing group photos of Guardians with their favorite Bungie Rewards, or bumping in to players wearing things like the Thunderlord T-shirt out in the wild. A few have been restocked today. Already seeing many selling out. If you missed your previous opportunity to grab one due to timing or other, here's another chance.

We have issued a server-side fix to address an issue in which the Bane of Tyrants ship no longer had an acquisition source, blocking completion of the Lunar Rover badge and the Harbinger title. All players now have this ship unlocked in the badge and Collections under Equipment > Ships > Season 8.
