They did say around 12 months from the end of preproduction in February. So math tells us Feb/March 2028. They've partnered for this release and have the current devs working on Legacy as they incubate a "NEW forever Destiny."

Important to note for raids that the raids might have non-T5 weapons/armor, as they specifically list updated legacy raid/raid lair loot as a stretch goal for launch for after launch.

Destiny 1 was my favourite game maybe ever, I was so excited when d2 was announced that I preorderd the most expensive version and my god was I disappointed. I despised the pvp so much that I only played for around 3 weeks and never went back. Destiny 2 was horrible
