Woke movies and LGBTQ+ themes will increasingly be introduced into Tamil society in the coming years, including through Tamil TV series, until they become normalized. All I ask people to do is this: learn more about the “Deep State” and its political history. Don’t be a sheep. Ask more questions. Question what you are told, examine the narratives being presented to you, and think independently. Never blindly accept a popular narrative simply because it is popular. Always question who is shaping the narrative, why it is being promoted, and whose interests it may serve. Stay aware. Stay critical. Don’t stop questioning.
