When I launched @predictfully_ at the end of 2025, my assumption was always that I would launch a cool platform and people would 'just find it'. How wrong I was. We spent 2025 building Predictfully to be a fan engagement platform, using prediction market technology, that would present passionate sports fans with an opportunity to flex their knowledge in a competitive format, and be rewarded in return. Nurturing a community that bought into that vision would then yield countless opportunities to monetise the real estate with brands, sports rights holders and content creators sharing in the spoils. Like so many before me it didn't take long to realise that the real work would be in building a community from scratch. And having spent the last five years working in a predominantly crypto and blockchain environment, finding an audience that was playing for the love of the platform has proved to be an incredibly difficult task. I took a few weeks out in April to really think about our brand positioning and how we could talk with authority to our intended audience and sell the sizzle of Predictfully to them. I landed at the door of shifting my entire content strategy to that of my intended audience, a sports fanatic with a love for watching, commenting, analysing and generally being as close to the sports I love as possible. I launched a YouTube channel called Gallowgate Studios - And I've been building and accompanying website branding whilst hosting my first live streams and researching content that is most likely to make this genre go viral. What I've realised is that there is so much joy to be had when creating content about something you are truly passionate about. I love sports, particularly football, and especially my beloved Newcastle United Football Club. So shifting content style has been a joy and what's more in the last two weeks I've had many people reach out to me from my existing circle and complement my approach, the shift, and the quality of the content that I've been able to create.
