CIG creators of the game hes referencing have deleted men's mental health month threads while pushing pride month in official CIG created threads.
Either way pride month to a lot of gamers is considered tied to identity politics at least in the US and generally doesn't belong in games. That's why it's getting ratio'ed because every year CIG makes these posts like Bungie ex and people generally don't want it tied to their favorite entertainment or thing they have dropped over 1k USD into.
Christmas is commercialized and takes place in games because games are a product linked to sales and the fact it's commercialized it's popular to see it celebrated in games for monetary reasons.
Fathers day it depends but nobody links that to identity politics same as mothers day. I also don't believe CIG as a company acknowledges Fathers day like they go out of their way to talk about pride month.
This pattern is typical of big studios that seem to pander to identity politics.

So I was thinking which is never good.
Ya know how NASA says they have to cut their live stream due to a plasma bubble causing interference? With that in mind you ever notice SpaceX never has to cut their live stream mid re-entry despite the same situation and plasma bubble that all space craft encounter?
I asked this question on 2 popular youtube channels that cover space launches via a comment.
Both channels hid my question in less then 24hr.

The funny thing about the AI drama is game studios have been using AI as a concept tool along with traditional design at the very least for a while.
Heck I even applied years ago to a small US studio where the art test material to 3d model was from stable diffusion.
There was no embarrassment over it and I was just happy to be selected for the offer.
But even "cutting corners" the studio ran out of money and everyone was let go. 😔
I think if you draw red lines in the sand and have discipline to maintain your virtuousness then you are left with dropping videos games all together.
Because 90% of the studios are not transparent about development including concept and that will not change.

It's a very low resolution ad in a game world.
It's intended to be passed casually.
It's intended to mimic a real counter part.
It's not economical to fully re-illustrate a knock off intended to remind you of something realistic just to use as low res decoration in the corner of a map.
It's not as strait forward as a knock off logo seen everywhere in GTA games. It's a illustration because the real life counter part is a illustration.
Mean while the entire game world seems to be made by paid artist.
This kinda cherry picked outrage is actually kinda dumb to me and I feel I'm pretty understanding to both positions.
On top of this we are making speculations about it's origin.

Infelizmente, é uma situação complicada.
O jogo foi feito por uma equipe de centenas, talvez milhares de artistas e desenvolvedores, dando tudo de si. O problema é que existem pessoas na hierarquia acima de toda essa equipe e, muito provavelmente, essas mesmas pessoas determinaram o uso de IA no processo de desenvolvimento do jogo.
Tenho certeza absoluta que a maioria da equipe não quis compactuar com isso, mas eles iriam fazer o que? Pedir demissão nessa economia que tá indo de mal a pior (que boa parte da culpa são das bigtechs de IA)? Não faz sentido, sabe?
Então o que fazer?
O que a comunidade já está fazendo: Apontar esse descontentamento, pressionar muito, e nunca normalizar o uso de IA em processos artísticos, principalmente de forma comercial.
No fim, se o jogo afundar, quem mais se ferra nessa história toda é a própria equipe, são os artistas, os desenvolvedores e os compositores, nunca é o chefe, o chefe NUNCA perde.
