Absolutely thrilled with Esa's performance at this year's worlds. He's been a stalwart partner to his friends and, while both of us were definitely struggling on team for this tournament, he stuck to his strengths and delivered an insane run. Sorry if you pair him in masters! :P
I placed top 4 at the pokemon world championships. I never thought I would even come close to winning worlds or doing well. Huge shoutouts to @ZoryaVGC , shiba for building with me and @MavaVgc, @Lorenzao14 for their take on Dusklass.

I really have liked the atlanta venue every time I've been there (once for Pokemon, twice for Magic); right on the Marta line from the airport, lots of space, and in a decent area to visit of a diverse and interesting city. toronto also rocks. big w

I have no idea what the actual VGC AI discourse is today -- someone promoting some tool or other, it seems. But I think there's a useful framing here that will help you determine if AI should be trusted for a task.

-- rather than write code to make things that only exist in a designer's head. I'm sure it's better than I think, will keep getting better, etc., but LLMs are not top VGC players. Also, LLMs are not only an uninteresting tool for making art, using them that way disconnects us.
