Excellent talk with @EricTopol and @KevinJTraceyMD! I was particularly interested on the potential of cold therapy as a means for activation of the vagus nerve...definitely room for further clinical exploration. As Dr. Tracey mentioned, at the very least, it's proven (including by @Iceman_Hof and many others) that acute controlled fight or flight is anti-inflammatory. There's a lot of health benefits and potential for novel therapies just in that.
