When we started @Bastion, we believed stablecoins would become core financial infrastructure. But for the world’s largest enterprises and financial institutions to adopt them, that infrastructure would need to meet the regulatory standards they already expect from their banks. That meant building compliance, controls and governance into Bastion from the beginning, not adding them after the fact or waiting for others to pave the way. Today, the OCC granted Bastion preliminary conditional approval for a national trust bank charter, placing us among a small group of companies to reach this stage with the OCC. That matters because the bar should be high. Stablecoins are becoming part of the financial system, and the infrastructure powering them needs to be built for the regulatory and operational standards that come with that. Stablecoins are moving into the financial mainstream, but institutional adoption depends on infrastructure that can meet an institutional standard. We made the decision early to build Bastion for that standard. Today is an important validation of that decision, and we’re just getting started. bastion.com/article/bastion-…

We’ve been tracking this friction point across our portfolio and the broader infrastructure layer for the last twelve months. Would love to hear from other operators. @GoKiteAI @Alchemy @primus_labs @ForteProtocol @Fluxai_Ai
Just in the last few months: Mastercard launched Agent Pay. Alchemy shipped agent infra. Kite pushed delegated identity. Ripple expanded agent tooling. Yet autonomous agents still aren’t autonomous. We’re looking at the wrong bottleneck.

The next wave of adoption is going to be driven by software, not speculation. AI agents need purpose-built rails to coordinate and pay each other, and Kite is shipping the full stack to make that happen. Excited to back this vision from day one.
Kite Mainnet is now live. This is not just another mainnet. It is the first blockchain built for agentic payments. Designed for an agent-first internet, for builders, and for the future Agent Economy. What makes Kite Mainnet different: Built for builders and agents. Not chasing TVL. Not chasing the next DeFi cycle. Not competing for idle speculative capital. Three layers, one platform: • Settlement Layer: built for high-frequency, low-value, agent-driven stablecoin-native transactions. • Kite Agent Passport: unifies identity, delegated authority, and programmable governance. • Agent Interface & Experience: where agents and developers interact with the system through agent registration, agent harnesses, and service discovery. A unified hub for all major payment protocol standards, including x402, Google AP2, and Stripe MPP. Try Kite Agent Passport today: agentpassport.ai/ Join our agentic community: discord.gg/gokiteai Let's build the rails for the Agent Economy.

1/3 The current Web3 landscape: • Web2 data remains siloed and unreachable. • Traditional oracles leak your intent to the world. • Privacy in DApps is currently a forced trade-off between trust and UX. We deserve better. 🌟

14/ @primus_labs lets you verify and compute any data in web3. Primus uses zkTLS & zkFHE to validate web data and utilize it in an encrypted form. This brings private, verifiable web data into Ethereum without exposing user details.

In a sea of payments focused agent companies and generic infra, Kite stands out by making verifiable outcomes the core. Agents don't just call APIs; they interact w/ live, tamper-proof data across domains. This shifts the web to agent first, where bots handle trades or logistics

From sub-100ms ingestion and schema drift to crypto proofs, ZettaBlock laid the groundwork. Now Kite is making it real: verifiable IDs, enforceable rules, seamless payments. It’s the shift from human-first to agent-native infrastructure.
1/ We’re thrilled to announce our $18M Series A fundraise led by @PayPal Ventures and @generalcatalyst, bringing total cumulative funding to $33 million. Patrick's insights are spot on: For AI and crypto to achieve mass adoption, we must establish clear frameworks for agent liability. Ensuring that autonomous agents are accountable is essential. It's imperative that we maintain control over AI, rather than being controlled by it.
Most AI agents are useless. They can’t hold $50K in escrow, prove credentials, or transact independently. They’re just wrappers on APIs or tokens, not economic actors. Here’s what matters linkedin.com/posts/patricknc… 1/9

can’t forget about @pharos_network! identity and programmable money are just the start @pharos_network is building the settlement backbone for autonomous agent transactions Think programmable escrow, asset movement, atomic onchain finality. critical piece of the agent economy
Don’t forget @pharos_network , Patrick! It can be the asset transaction and payment settlement layer @PCDispersion ! 💪

Most people are building agents to meme or talk. We’re backing teams building agents that can act — with wallets, identity, capital, and rules. This is how real autonomy scales. AI agents aren’t the next UI — they’re the next users.
