My $QYLD dividend payment for September. I know it’s not a very popular ETF here, but I tend to hold. My wife and I take these monthly dividends and spend them for travel. Big picture, not a lot of growth, but I’m way ahead cashwise. I’ve made my original investment back.
I’ve been really quiet on this platform for the last week. I’m pretty sure I caught Covid somewhere and it kicked my ass
Let me tell you, it’s not fun
But I’m feeling much better, and plan to become more involved and post more in the coming days.

Gets bashed a lot on this platform, and if you look at the growth, it’s basically nothing.
What you need to look at here is the dividend yield, and the fact that they’ve paid an increasing dividend yearly for quite a few years now.
Good bond replacement.
It’s funny, the other day I was complaining about my Robinhood credit card being only a $10,000 limit.
This past Sunday, I decided to request a credit limit increase on my Fidelity Visa. My line was $40,000, and with no hesitation, they upped it to $50,000.
Nice!
I have to admit, I’m somewhat frustrated with this card.
I’ve had it since October 2025 and have yet to get a credit limit increase.
I do not make multiple payments per month just pay the statement balance in full.
Maybe one day, they’ll give me a larger limit.
Last week, I bought this Mammotion Luba 3, 3000 to maintain our yard.
This thing runs every other day, and keeps our yard, perfectly manicured at 3 inches.
Not cheap, it was almost $3000. But totally worth it.
Looks like another rough day in the markets today.
So, ignore the short term noise because that’s what it is, and focus on your long-term plan. Stick to that plan
You will come out a winner in the long run. Take it from me it worked for us.
⁉️ Trump says he will impose tariffs on generic drugs starting in August 2028.
If implemented, tariffs on generic drugs would be set at 100 percent and rise to 200 percent a year later.
My question is, why? This is going to hurt many people.

“US judge voids Donald Trump's $1.8bn settlement with IRS that gave him immunity from tax audits.”
Good. Like the rest of us, his family should not be immune. They need to pay their fair share.
