Trump says the badly wounded captain still managed to open the cockpit door and scream for help. "In a way he was a hero." The plane plunged thousands of feet before passengers and crew intervened and it landed safely in Saudi Arabia. The motive remains under investigation.

Our Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah have been following the health condition of Mr Smit Machchhar, the brave Indian pilot of Flydubai flight that was diverted to Tabuk today. He is admitted in a hospital in Tabuk city in northwest Saudi Arabia and receiving necessary medical attention. A full update on his health is awaited but he is reported to be in stable condition. We hope that he recovers from his injuries at the earliest. We are in touch with his family and assure them that we will continue to follow up on his health with Saudi authorities and extend all possible assistance for his wellbeing. @MEAIndia

Pilot name -Captain Smit Machchhar is an Indian not Emirati. He showed extraordinary presence of mind when he was attacked by his co-pilot in the cockpit. Despite being stabbed, he fought to prevent the co-pilot from taking control of the aircraft and triggering a catastrophe.

बिना आरक्षण की 158 साल पुरानी TATA कंपनी 9 साल पुरानी कंपनी TikTok, 29 साल पुरानी कंपनी Netflix से छोटी कंपनी है और 23 साल पुरानी कंपनी Tesla से TATA 5 गुना छोटी कंपनी है। TATA कंपनी a to z, सारे बिज़नेस करती है और TikTok, Netflix मनोरंजन के बिज़नेस में है। Tesla सिर्फ़ कार बनाती है। TATA कंपनी में 158 साल से आरक्षण नहीं है, a to z धंधे करती है, लेकिन 9 साल पुरानी TikTok कंपनी से छोटी कंपनी है। इसे ही भारत में मेरिट कहते है। TATA कंपनी में शायद ही SC, ST, OBC लोग उच्च पदों पर मिलेंगे लेकिन देश के पिछड़े होने का सारा दोष आरक्षण और SC, ST, OBC मढ़ दिया जाता है। यही हाल देश की दूसरी कंपनियों का है। मुकेश अंबानी की रिलायंस कंपनी आइसक्रीम की कंपनी खोल रही है। आगे जाकर वह हाउस कीपिंग की कंपनी खोल सकती है।

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.
