The Cubs last 2 years in the playoffs
7/55 with RISP(.127)
23 Runs over 10 games
And you have an offensive core that’s primarily locked up(Pete Crow Armstrong, Michael Busch, Nico Hoerner, Dansby Swanson, Alex Bregman) You need to find upgrades, it’s not good enough
Seiya Suzuki has been a consistent 120+ WRC hitter and played GREAT RF this year and has played in 82% of Cubs games. And has an .828 OPS in the playoffs. He is a HUGE priority to bring back, 3/85 with a player option
Ian Happ’s a .599 Playoff OPS guy, love the guy, but you CANT tell me you would rather have Happ over Seiya, it’s not even close. We need to mix SOMETHING up. You can’t run back the same offense!!
This offense takes a major hit without Suzuki in the regular season and the playoffs… he’s built for the moments
