⛽️ 💸 This is insane!! At my local gas station in LA, diesel is $8.29/gal, premium unleaded is $6.85/gal but… E85 Ethanol blend fuel is just $2.69/gal ($2.39 for cash)!!!! Thanks to federal corn 🌽 subsidies (ethanol source) & CA low carbon fuel benefits & no Strait of Hormuz, there’s a massive price differential today. Mind you, E85 can get ~20% fewer miles/gallon but even then it’s a steal! Too bad very few manufacturers make them today (GM?). But if you are trying to save $$$ buy a used or new Flex Fuel car that can take E85. Or just buy a @tesla :)
