None of these tech leaders were born in the US. Attracting talent from all over the world is one of the reasons America is a great country. I own shares in companies run by two of them. How about you?

Health over lambos. Family over rankings.
Not my usual style to post half naked photos, but what the hell... 🤣 Also 49, no AI, no photoshop, pure human labor. I encourage people to compete on health, not wealth rankings or lambos. More health, more family = true wealth, and happiness.

Shots fired. Bot vs Dot competing is good for users, the better product wins, and we don’t have to pick a side early. We can probably use both.

Bullish on JEV and Cloudflare ($NET), a $125B company, that still moves like a startup.
"Today, we’re releasing two Cloudflare-trained decision models, Clef and Clef-flash" blog.cloudflare.com/clef-dec… Never seen an idea spreading so fast.

Dot.com switched from Cloudflare to its current AWS nameservers on July 28, according to DNS history. That predates OpenAI’s Dots announcement, but doesn’t establish when ownership changed. Does anyone have confirmation of the acquisition date?
Dot. com isn’t available. The owner of Dots. com is probably getting a lot of inquiries today.

There is always a .com you can get for $5k that's better the tryblurgh.‌ai you're currently using. The reason you don't see it is (a) lack of imagination and (b) because you're attached to Blurgh, which you shouldn't be, because it's not that great anyway.

On a day most stocks were down, $NET was up 1.4%. Same day it was clear OpenAI has been poaching Cloudflare employees. That’s not a knock, it’s a signal. People love Cloudflare. Anthropic and OpenAI might not both survive. Cloudflare will. If you’re a domain investor, use it. If you’re a builder, check it before anything else. If you still don’t know what they do, watch this (posted ~an hour ago): x.com/ritakozlov/status/2104… Cloudflare user since 2018. $NET shareholder since 2020.
Anthropic and OpenAI might not both survive. IPO dates keep moving. Open source keeps getting better. All-In covered the liquidity risk this week. Cloudflare ($NET) is a better and safer bet. I’d rather own that than a private seat in either lab.

Can’t wait to use “cf” to buy a domain name. I think this will be replacing “wrangler” cli. While I like “wrangler”, “cf” is a better and more natural fit
Introducing "cf", an agentic CLI for the entire Cloudflare API. You can do nearly anything. Even buying a domain is incredibly simple from the CLI. Don't know what command you need? Run `cf cli search "look at messages stuck in my queue"` and it will return a list of relevant commands. blog.cloudflare.com/cloudfla…

Codex computer use on Mac has been solid, cleared a few problems I couldn’t solve on my own.
Codex computer use is absurd. Especially on Mac.

Just found out X Number is available on my account and grabbed one that’s easy to remember. Open the X app → Chat tab → All dropdown → Number. Hit refresh if you don’t like it. It took me 7–8 tries. Have you gotten yours yet?

There’s a huge difference between the pinyin meanings of ai and si. Keep that in mind when you’re buying or registering domains to sell to Chinese buyers.

Got an offer to get featured on NBC/Fox. Opener was “Saw Guta Inc on Zillow — great work.” We’re a domain brokerage, not real estate, but I appreciate the enthusiasm. Should I take the booking anyway?

I was in China last month and took the bullet train from Quanzhou to Shenzhen. Great trip, quick, comfortable, and there are so many trains both ways every day. Most times you can buy same-day tickets at fixed prices. I keep wondering if Amtrak acela could offer similar servcice in northeast corridor in the future.
BREAKING: Elon Musk on China in his new interview with CCTV Finance: “I generally recommend people go to China as much as they can, because China has so many things to see. I took the bullet train from Beijing to Xi’an. That was a great experience. The train stations are amazing. “The Terracotta Warriors are one of the wonders of the world. Just make sure you look out the window and aren’t on your phone, because there’s so much to see. Any words I say do not do justice to the incredible majesty that is China. It’s awesome.”
