Another busy night in Texas. 8 pm until 9 pm aligning the optics. 11pm until 1am imaging Saturn and then 5am until 6:30 am imaging Mars and Jupiter. The results are worth it.
Spectacular image of Saturn from the 7th. 11-images combined with derotation. Each of the images is a stack of 3000 frames making the whole a combined 33000 frames aligned precisely and then processed.
Made some serious progress on my ERTL/AMT 1/48 scale A-20J with the clouds and rain. A few touch up areas to work but I’m liking the results so far. Testor’s Model Master enamel paints.
