I have been debating the topic since before Oct 7th... almost daily.
But I remember, the pro pali argument was a lot different in the first months of this current war. When the argument fell apart and didn't manifest the way they thought it would, they changed it to "but look at the destruction!"
It is almost like they wanted to see more death of Palestinians, but when it didn't happen, they couldn't just fully abandon their narrative.
