The Giants are too talented IMO to just punt on the season going into week 3 and would a Mac Jones trade for premium draft capital be worth it, knowing Mac will leave in free agency after the year? What if the Niners used that 2nd round pick to trade for a DT or DE? Ultimately, I wouldn't trade Mac, because the 49ers are a wagon, Brock Purdy has an injury history, their Super Bowl window is closing with an older roster and if Purdy went down, I think the Niners could still compete for a ring with Mac, but not with Kurtis Rourke. #49ers
