It was a very long journey; I have been waiting for this since 1988 and the album New Jersey. On Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium the dream finally came true. After 38 years of waiting, it was my first Bon Jovi concert — and it was everything I hoped it would be. Standing there, staring at the towering red stage and the giant winged heart, I felt like a kid again. When the lights hit and Jon walked out, the whole stadium exploded. Classic after classic — You Give Love a Bad Name, Born To Be My Baby, Bed of Roses, It’s My Life, I’ll Be There For You, Bad Medicine — kept the energy flying until the last note of Always. The setlist I held in my hands was not just a piece of paper. It was many years of waiting printed in black and white. Some dreams take decades. That does not make them smaller.
