AMERICA IS A MASSIVE ECONOMY.
340+ million people. 50 states. Millions of businesses. Hundreds of millions of individual financial decisions.
There are so many moving parts that no President can flip a switch and suddenly every American feels prosperous.
But look at the direction of the numbers.
In 2025:
Median household income: $87,460 - highest on record.
Up 2.6% after inflation from 2024.
Median after-tax household income: $76,060.
Up 3.1% after inflation from $73,760.
Official poverty rate: 10.2%.
Down from 2024, with 34.5 million Americans still living below the official poverty line.
Those numbers don't mean EVERY American is doing well. Millions are still getting crushed by housing, groceries, insurance, utilities and debt.
But they do show movement in important national indicators.
The political question for voters is what policies they believe will extend those gains to MORE households, MORE workers and MORE communities.
America didn't get into its problems overnight, and it won't get out of them overnight.
Look past the screaming headlines.
LOOK AT THE NUMBERS. LOOK AT THE DIRECTION. THEN VOTE ACCORDINGLY.
I highly recommend voting Republicans up and down the ballot in order to keep the momentum going.
It won't all be perfect but the direction is what matters at this point.
By 2028, you can safely judge President Trump's term in its entirety.
