Khalid's Story I first got to know @khalidyemeni59 through a mutual friend who messaged me about his case. Khalid is a Yemeni father who was diagnosed with Femoral Head Necrosis which caused him EXTREME pain. This means that bone tissue in the upper part of his thigh bone died because it lost its blood supply. The doctors in Yemen said that he needs to travel to Egypt for orthopedic surgery because it was unavailable in Yemen. I started raising donations for Khalid while he was in Yemen but it was impossible to raise the huge amount he needed for travel & treatment costs. So Khalid's siblings suggested that he take a loan from someone in Yemen & travel because his situation was unbearable. Thankfully he travelled to Egypt & got surgery and it was successful. Khalid even sent me a voice note from his doctor and showed me the removed bone tissue. He finished all his postoperative treatment & physical therapy. However Khalid ran out of money because staying in Egypt is expensive (rent & other fees). He is unable to afford flight tickets back to Yemen. Their prices increased a lot due to the conflict in Yemen. Moreover he MUST repay his loan, otherwise he will lose his house in Yemen. His children in Yemen are having constant power cuts and they miss their father so much. Currently he is stuck in Egypt with no money.
