Someone lost $68M in crypto because two wallet addresses looked similar. This actually happened in 2024 The attacker sent a tiny transaction from a lookalike address first, so it appeared in the victim's transaction history Later, the victim copied that address thinking it was the one they had used before 1,155 WBTC, gone in second, and you're telling me the solution to this is still ...just check the address carefully 😂 This is why I like the idea behind Send-to-Name™ Instead of asking me to recognise a random string of characters every time I send crypto, I can use a @Americanfort_io like name The wallet creates a fresh one time address for the payment, so I don't have to rely on some old address from my transaction history.

Not much, but a big one for me today, I’m officially a creator with @creator_wire, been putting in the work for a while now. Creating, learning, trying new things and figuring stuff out as I go. Gm frens 👋🏽 Late last night, I paid a visit to the 5-minute BTC market on @wahoopredict. I took my time with the charts before making my first move. No rushing, no forcing trades. I waited for the market to move, watched the pattern, and picked my moments. It was going pretty well… until my 5th trade. 😂 The market reminded me that it doesn't always follow the pattern, and I called that one wrong. Luckily, I had already set a target and was prepared to take at least one loss. So I went back to the charts, reassessed the move and noticed that the direction wasn't completely wrong, it was just delayed. Made one final pick. Recovered the loss. 🫡 Until next time.🌬
