The raptors in 2018 were in the same predicament as the Knicks are in now. They fired their coach and traded there best to increase there ceiling as a team. The Knicks can do the same if they’re willing to cut ties with the right players and sign the right coach.

If I’m the knicks I would trade Jalen Brunson and Josh hart for Giannis. Jalen’s contract makes him so valuable that the bucks can let him play out the season then milk a contender for draft picks and players to build around.

Keep in mind the bucks don’t own any of their draft picks for the next 4 years so they have to stay competitive and they can’t take for a high pick. The blazers and wizards own all their picks 😭😭😭😭 from the dame and kuzma trade. @getnickwright @stephenasmith

The Knicks starting 5 excluding the point guard position would be Mikal bridges OG Giannis KAT You have versatility on offense and defense at every position and your smallest guy is 6’7. In addition to that, trading Brunson reduces the capital you would have to give up.
