Our girls had a great showing yesterday and continue to impress us with their hard work, dedication, and love for the game! They went 3-0 in pool play, earning a first-round bye and heading into bracket play as the #3 seed at the Mid TN Softball Tri Star Showcase. “Life is not about how much you succeed; it’s about what happens when you fail.” 🥎 THE RIDE CONTINUES… 🥎 We’ve officially moved into exposure season, and this past weekend we stepped onto the field for our first 16U tournament. Playing against some good competition in an 8-team field, pool play brought a little bit of everything—the good, the bad, and the ugly. We finished pool play 2-2-2, knowing the road ahead wasn’t going to be easy. With our final pool game rolling right into bracket play, we knew the challenge: four games in a row if we wanted to finish the job. So we went to work. One pitch at a time. One inning at a time. One game at a time. Win. Advance. Repeat. Round after round, these girls battled their way into the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. 🏆 Once we got there, they took control early and picked up right where they left off in the spring. Only this time, we finished the job. 🥇 FIRST 16U TOURNAMENT — CHAMPIONS! Big things are ahead for this group, and we’re excited to watch it all unfold. It’s never really about the hardware. It’s about these girls realizing that the work, sacrifices, adversity, selflessness, and commitment to being a great teammate DO pay off. Keep working. Keep growing. Keep responding.
