I had a wonderful time at the White House today celebrating our nation’s HBCUs. We got to share the great news that @usedgov is investing an additional $174 million in HBCUs across the nation! This additional funding builds on the historic investment ED has already made in these storied institutions under @POTUS.

From an on‑campus basil garden supplying Wegmans to a state‑of‑the‑art basketball facility, their public-private model demonstrates how institutions can leverage campus assets to expand experiential learning and build future-ready programs.

Yesterday, I had the honor of visiting Beth Medrash Govoha, where I witnessed how the Yeshiva is shaping the local community, deepening faith, and preparing Talmud scholars for lifelong success.

It was a pleasure to visit @JeffersonUniv this afternoon to learn more about the university's education-to-workforce pipeline and engage with students and faculty in their textiles program, dating back to the 19th century!

Had such a fun visit to @MercerCollege today — loved seeing the culinary, engineering, and even the funeral services programs up close! Community colleges make such a big difference for our local workforce, and it shows.

Had a great visit to @LackawannaEDU this morning! From the robotics to auto-mechanic and cybersecurity labs, it was awesome to see technical education in action.

Incredible to see innovation translate directly into outcomes for learners. Thrilled to be at @RITtigers today to learn how their experiential learning co-ops are helping students directly enter careers in advanced manufacturing, engineering, and AI!
