You know parents, if the school wants clear water bottles, blue folders, jeans with no holes, or a black pen to write with, instead of making it a huge “MY CHILD’S RIGHTS ARE BEING DENIED” you can just teach your child that some policies may not make sense, but it is the rule so we are going to follow it. Every time a parent pushes back (without taking time to meet with a school administrator) you just make your child turn into a little sh*t. And something else no other Principal but me will tell you, is that when you tell your child to ignore school rules because you don’t agree with them and you give staff an extra headache it becomes the PERFECT way to assure your child has the worst teachers and the worst schedule the following year.

Oh you sweet summer child... You are not in charge of our children. Their parents are. You need to teach them reading, writing and arithmetic. Beyond that? You can F all the way off Mr. Principal. If you don't like that, I will yank them (and their associated federal funding) right the F out of your joke of a school to teach them properly. Make no mistake: my kids are in your school for YOUR benefit - not necessarily for theirs.

I’m all for standards in schools. I don’t want kids walking around with their ass hanging out, but the school system has far bigger problems to address than worrying about plastic bottles, and blue folders. FFS, the public school system is complete shit. I could go on about the real problems we’ve faced in our district and the protection terrible teachers get. I’ll save my energy.

She still has a job, and I’d be just as outraged if it were any other president. She should be no where near children.
