Upgrading a card in @Earthwisegames can actually change how you play it.
In Tutorial 8, I upgraded Lucky Fairy to Awakened and had to choose a permanent effect. Trickle lowers its attack and mana cost, while Overdrive pushes the card in the opposite direction.
Then I upgraded Time Warp with Reinforce and took both cards straight into a match.
That’s the part I like.
Card upgrades here aren’t just about collecting a rarer version. They change the trade-offs behind how a card fits your deck, when you want to play it, and what kind of strategy you can build around it.
Tutorial 8 focuses on this upgrade loop, while Elowyn’s wider card progression also connects to packs, minting and the Marketplace.
If you’re already past the basics, this is the next tutorial I’d check out.

some facts about @Earthwisegames that you don't know
1. you can change health, mana and attack of any card. check the video to see how 😏
2. You can mint your cards and turn them into NFTs once you upgrade them and reach 500 reputation points
3. Elowyn has its own marketplace where players can buy/sell minted cards on the @0xPolygon chain using USDC or POL, either works
4. If you don't have enough duplicates to upgrade your cards, you can simply buy card packs from the in game shop
I'm playing this game daily because I genuinely love the mechanics and how it thrives on a win-win strategy.

Just found out @Earthwisegames been fighting a just cause
Losing trees would mean we losing access to certain benefits like less air quality, loss of wildlife habitats etc
Playing Elowyn and getting the Rainforest card pack supports initiatives that see to it that those benefits remain viable.

Most card games reward you for dealing more damage
@Earthwisegames made me build a deck around something completely different: controlling Time
I built this one around Kairos, took it straight into a practice match, and the idea actually worked.
That’s what I’m starting to like about Elowyn
Deckbuilding isn’t just about stuffing in your strongest cards. Your Hero Power, card choices and timing need to support the same game plan.
Tutorial 7 makes that click pretty quickly. Build the deck, test it immediately, see what works, then adjust.
Mine made it all the way to the win.
If you already understand Elowyn’s basic mechanics, this is the tutorial I’d play next.
You can try it through @Immutable, complete the current quests and earn weekly IMX rewards, with @0xPolygon in the ecosystem.
