Multiple rounds of moderate to major tidal flooding are expected into the weekend for portions of the Atlantic coast, Delaware Bay, and southern Raritan Bay. Minor tidal flooding is expected for the tidal Delaware River. The highest tides are forecast to occur during the Saturday morning and/or Saturday night high tide. Rainfall may also lead to higher water levels in some areas. Windy conditions are expected on area waters and coastal areas. Storm force winds are forecast tonight through Saturday night for the Atlantic waters and lower Delaware Bay. For the Atlantic coasts of NJ and DE, a High Wind Warning is in effect tonight through Saturday night for north winds 30-40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible. A Wind Advisory is in effect for some inland areas tonight through Saturday night. There is a High Risk of rip currents through Sunday as well as dangerous surf. Significant beach erosion is likely. Breaching of dunes is possible. While significant freshwater flooding is not ex
