♟️ Start with one grain of rice. Put 1 grain on the first square of a chessboard. Then double it on every square. 1 → 2 → 4 → 8 → 16 → 32… By the final square, you’d need more than 𝟭𝟴 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 grains of rice. That’s roughly 700 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 tonnes of rice.
