Paul says this is where the real fight is, not out there, but in here, in the mind.  Imaginations - those "what if" stories, worst-case movies, lies that play on repeat. Anything that says "God won't come through, you're too far gone, this will never change" - that's taller than truth, and it has to come down.  Casting down. That's active. That's not passive positive thinking. And bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.  You don't let thoughts run wild - you arrest them. You take them captive and make them bow to what Christ says is true. Your thoughts don't get to be the boss. Christ does.  Today, Friday, when a fearful thought comes, you don't entertain it - you capture it. What thought today has been exalting itself above what God says - and are you ready to take it captive to Christ?
