Ahhh yes, because UGA spends leaps and bounds more on their roster than VT
Oh…. Wait….
Could Ethan Grunkemeyer be headed to the SEC? 👀

DC GOAT
From the #Gr8:
ALT My family and I decided this summer that this will be my final year in the NHL. I love this game so much, but I know in my heart it’s the right decision. It was important for me to make this announcement before our first home game, so I have the chance to thank all the people around the game, everyone who has been so important to me and my family and helped me through good times and tough losses. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve everything I have in my life without them. I am excited about this season with my teammates, and we will do everything we can to make this year special. I am going to enjoy every moment with my family, my boys, our fans and everyone who has been part of my hockey career. See you Wednesday, babes!

Hokies add an experienced guard that can shoot it from deep. 6.3 ppg at Clemson a year ago
Virginia Tech should have some very solid guard play this season!

So they expect a 40% increase in season ticket holders
While increasing prices 35+%?
That’s not a plan. That’s a prayer.
Tech officials hope the new model eventually will yield an additional $20M in annual revenue, which represents approximately 10% of the department's current budget. They're also targeting an increase in season-ticket holders from 21K to 30K.

It is egregious that Virginia Tech charges for infant tickets. 1 of 2 in the ACC.
Not only does it discourage fans with young kids from coming to games, but it takes away a seat for a fan who can get up and yell on 3rd down (and 1st and 2nd and 4th!)
@TechSideline @SonsofSatVT @Hokie20 I’m coming up for the home opener with my parents, wife, 2 year old and 4 month old. I got tickets for the 5 of us excluding our baby. I just read infants require tickets. Any recommendations on cheapest possible ticket to avoid fees, etc.?

The notion of the “power 2” being far and away superior to the rest of college football is a media driven narrative, rather than a results driven narrative
And the AP Poll plays that out every week

Florida makes a big leap in the AP Top 25 poll while Ole Miss, USC and Missouri tumble. See where your team landed.

Final attendance at Nationals Park: 1,839,116. Smallest non-covid crowd since 2010. If you needed a signal that the fan base would like this ownership group to invest, I would argue this is it.

Wow.
Kentucky and Mizzou are still ranked while Duke, Virginia Tech and Pitt are all left out of the Top 25.
SEC bias is alive and well.
