Last year I wrote a custom windows app for a customer that automates a CNC machine via MODBUS-TCPIP. I'm curious how much that is used still in the manufacturing environment. Asking because I could easily add a MODBUS-TCPIP proxy to proxybox that would then enable access to those devices securely over the internet - bringing web-based automation capabilities instead of desktop applications. Everything MODBUS would become an HTTPS REST API like everything else on proxybox. Anybody out there in manufacturing see value in that?

I know there are some things about my dev workflow that I could automate, but I do not want to lose the ability to do core things manually. If agents are unavailable, I shouldn't look clueless. "How do you XYZ ... I don't know - the agent always did it ..." Simple stuff like navigating file systems.

Spent a week up in DFW area for CYC conference, then we came down here to Galveston TX. Beach was very full over the weekend - but like this during the week. Lots of folks said Galveston beach / water would be murky and muddy, that has not been our experience. I think its beautiful. Been a great week camping here.

Push notifications from claude code when you have enabled remote control are so unreliable. Even though I have both configs set to true for push - I cannot get claude to reliably notify me. I hate it when software vendors push features that do not work. Come on @claudeai get it together.
