I honestly don’t think I hate anyone on this planet more than the McCanns. Horrible scumbag bastards that have somehow evaded justice.
They deserved prison. Not book deals and documentaries.
Was bored last night and started rewatching the Madeleine McCann doc on Netflix.
Forget all the conspiracy stuff, as a parent of 2 young children, the negligence the McCanns showed was ridiculous even for the time.
They left 2 year old twins and a 3 year old in an unlocked ground floor apartment. The apartment was accessible by a public street.
They periodically checked in, but that didn’t always involve actually seeing the children. Just making sure no one was crying etc.
The night before it happened, Maddie asked her parents why they didn’t come when she was crying.
Obviously no one expects their child to be abducted, but they couldn’t have made it much easier for someone to snatch her.
They prioritised themselves and their own convenience over their children’s safety. Can blame police and everyone all they want but if that was me I would be blaming myself.
Am I being too harsh?
