Shawn Cutter grew up in Ohio's Amish country, a sixth-generation farmer. Now he's reimagining what a data center campus can look like. His venture, EnergiAcres, puts data centers, natural gas power plants, and greenhouses on the same site. Waste heat and carbon dioxide from the power plant are routed to the greenhouses, boosting crop growth nearby. His first project: a $6-billion-plus campus in north-central Ohio, generating up to a gigawatt onsite, enough to power a town.
