ALT Students gathered in Remuh Synagogue, the only surviving synagogue still used for worship in Krakow. In synagogue culture, males wear head coverings called kippahs as a respectful recognition of God above them.
ALT Students enjoyed a walking tour of the iconic 11th-century Wawel Castle, a restoration of Poland’s medieval royal architecture, near the Vistula Riverbanks in Krakow’s Old Town.
