BTW, the alternate-realities riff underlying EMP vol.12's "NEVER-ENDING REBOOT" storyline seemed a whole lot fresher when I first worked up the concept for a Guest Artist miniseries back in 2018, a few years before "multiverse mania" hit the pop-culture mainstream. (Oh, well.)

I wrote this one-shot three years ago (IIRC), but the story wound up "stuck in continuity jail," if you will, until @LilFormers figured out a way to massage the script into a form that eventually passed SF-continuity muster. Glad to see the issue finally hitting the stands!

Nov. 26's release of the 4th EMPOWERED OMNIBUS paperback collection (& DELUXE EDITION hardcover) includes 2019's vol. 11 (along with vols 10 & 12), which was essentially a 200-page action scene pitting Emp against a godlike telepath and a cape-clad horde of possessed superheroes.
