The Town of Bristol recently completed an upgrade at the DPW facility, replacing ten outdated and inefficient garage doors with modern, fully insulated models. This improvement not only enhances the facility’s energy efficiency but also contributes to a more comfortable environment for employees year-round. Through support from OER’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program, Bristol was able to complete this upgrade and generate an annual savings of approximately $1,612 and an estimated reduction of 5.45 metric tons of CO2 emissions.
