A 4 kW power module is small. Put hundreds of them together and you have a multi-megawatt IQ Solid-State Transformer rack. These power modules are now starting to come off our manufacturing lines in Arlington, Texas. Today we announced that power modules for the Enphase IQ Solid-State Transformer are now being built in the U.S. to assemble and validate full-scale IQ SST racks. The racks are designed for AI data centers moving to 800 VDC, converting medium-voltage AC directly to 800 VDC with sub-millisecond response to dynamic AI loads. Inside each module is a high-frequency transformer from our in-house magnetics team, GaN power switching, and Kestrel, our fifth-generation custom control ASIC. "We don't need to build bigger power-conversion systems," said Raghu Belur, co-founder and chief product officer. "We can scale by repeating the same compact power module, the approach Enphase has used to scale distributed power electronics for decades." That approach has put approximately 89.4 million microinverters into the field. The IQ SST power modules share form factor and process commonality with our latest IQ Microinverters, which is what gives this a path to volume.
