tech lawyer Growth Lead: @apcollective 200+ campaigns across DeFi, AI, trading, gaming & tokens

Pinned Tweet
3 years back I sent this dm to 50-60 people. I worked hard, had my ups and downs and stuck through the bear market. Today I work as a Partnerships Manager for @apcollective and @waleswoosh 3 years might seem like a long time and maybe my growth was slower than others but I’m super proud of what I have accomplished. If I can do it, trust me, so can you

Honestly I find this quite strange As a corporate tech lawyer myself + my best friend is a Korean lawyer and while working with him and speaking to him, I saw that almost every major law firm in Korea has a dedicated crypto and blockchain practice and this is something not seen in many jurisdictions Korea is a huge market for crypto and the citizens have always been early adopters and high spenders Hopefully this translates to more political representation soon
My thoughts on the taxation of crypto in Korea. FYI: Korea abolished taxation on stock trading two years ago. However, they are now pushing for taxation on crypto. The crypto industry in Korea is barely represented in Korean politics, which is a violation of the principle of “no taxation without representation.” I’ve been very vocal about this.

I used to look up to @Kalshi and thought they’re doing some really good work but what the fuck is this Cancer is a very serious disease that affects millions of families physically, mentally and financially Kalshi turning this into a betting game for others to make money on is extremely sad How does Kalshi not have an internal policy team. What’s worse is that after the backlash, they defended this decision Do better

I completely disagree with such takes about GTA 6 trailer releasing early on Netflix As a daily gamer and a moron who preordered GTA 6 the night it opened, I must say that nothing about this is boundary breaking. Rockstar didn't do anything creative or fun which is what marketing is supposed to be. Netflix wrote them a giant cheque and rockstar accepted it. That's all this is. Think about what the first trailer actually was. It leaked, Rockstar dropped it early, and the whole internet stopped at once. Biggest 24 hours any trailer has ever had on YouTube. Every group chat, every stream, every timeline watching the same 90 seconds at the same moment, for free. That is the actual boundary. A game reveal turning into a genuine global event that anyone could show up to. Now they are gating this behind a Netflix subscription and the payoff for the community that turned this series into the biggest entertainment franchise on the planet is that you go second. What in the late stage capitalism is this lmao People talking about it isn't proof the marketing worked. A community raising their voice against a bad move doesn't mean it's good marketing but a testament to the fact that they are ignoring the stakeholders that matter the most. Nothing about this post is against Teddy. He's a really smart and great guy and I've worked with him in the past. Its just a difference of opinion :))
For everyone crying about GTA 6 releasing its trailer early on Netflix: Welcome to the real world, the Rockstar Games & Take-two Marketing teams are breaking boundaries in gaming while you sit at home and complain Congrats to all of the GTA 6 devs who will have their finest work premiered on Netflix This is not conventional boring old game marketing even though some of you want that so bad. This is GTA 6 vs every other major entertainment franchise And if you’re talking about it, it means the marketing is working, I wonder what else they have up there sleeves before launch Anyone like me who can’t afford a Netflix subscription don’t worry, I’m uploading that shit here as soon as it drops anyway 😂

Interesting that they fired their staff just before their tokens unlocked
This is wild. Almost ~$20M worth of $PUMP unlocks in 12 days. The majority of this unlock is going to Team and Existing Investors. Interestingly, ahead of the unlock the token has pumped ~50% in the last 30 days. Any theories as to why? 🤔

Totally disagree with such takes I 100% believe that AI should be used in education and teachers should use AI to create more interactive lesson plans But AI should not be used by school children to do their assignments and homework. A child develops critical thinking in school. If they are taught to just rely on AI to finish their assignments they aren't gonna develop their brain Its like saying kids don't need gym class coz they can just uber everywhere AI should be used by students to aid them in research, to help them in understanding concepts etc but should not be used for assignments and homework So if a student has used AI in their assignments and not done anything on their own, they should be asked to redo the assignment
hot take: colleges and unis should teach how to vibe code AI shouldn't be a TABOO topic in any schools. it should be one of the top priority to teach. if your school isn't teaching how to vibe code or how to properly use an AI, you need to dropout (joke, learn it yourself) schools need to adopt and teach how to properly use AI not just the LLMs but how to use it in professional settings the main problem rn teachers and schools are fighting their students who are using AI on their assignments/projects/thesis.
